Step 1: Requirements analysis for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)
The first and most important step before a company can look for the right solution is the analysis:
- What are our requirements?
- What must our system be able to handle?
- Let’s take the optimization of the accounts payable workflow as an example: What do we need our system to be able to do to make this process faster, easier and more cost-effective?
The more precisely the company prepares the requirements analysis in advance, the more efficient the subsequent steps will be.
Step 2: Implement the requirements
Once the requirements are clarified, Parashift takes care of implementing them.
Going back to the example of the accounts payable workflow that the company wants to optimize:
- The company needs the extraction of data X, which Parashift already covers as standard
- The company also needs the extraction of data Y, for example, special identification numbers.
Parashift implements all special requirements in such a way that the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform can also extract such data automatically. In this way, the company is served a tailor-made IDP solution.

Step 3: Training and configuration
The third step is to train and configure the Parashift Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform.
If required, a company can set up additional document types effortlessly and within a very short time with the powerful and easy-to-use document type editor.
Step 4: Onboarding
Onboarding is the process of integrating the Parashift IDP platform into the company’s system. Depending on the system, integration takes place either via an existing interface or via a new one.
After the integration of the Parashift IDP platform, extensive testing is carried out. Here, the new business process is simulated and tested for functionality.
Step 5: Go-Live
If everything works as desired during onboarding testing, the next step is go-live. From this moment on, the company officially switches to productive operation. All incoming documents automatically run through the newly developed system paths and business processes are only handled there.
Step 6: Optimization
Due to the nature of the Parashift IDP platform and its swarm learning, the company benefits from continuous performance improvement.
